I am so sorry for your loss.
I lost my sweet Annie suddenly in 2008 and Boo (5 yrs old at the time) was as grief stricken as I was. I was amazingly blessed to be able to have Gracie Ruth join us just 2 short weeks later. She was 3 months old at the time and she and Boo got along fabulously. She was all puppy and terrorized him sometimes, but he has the patience of Job with her and he could always jump up onto the couch when he really had to get away from her. She brought a lot of life back into the house and Boo & I were most grateful for that.
