thats what vets recommend here in va and i will always go by that to make sure the pup is protected, im not taking chances. puppies can get parvo earlier then 10 weeks, most puppies are done with vaccines at 12 weeks
6 weeks vaccine
9 weeks vaccine
12 weeks vaccine
4-6 months rabies |
First of all, they are over vaccinating dogs, which I think everyone will agree with. The reason they're having to have so many shots, is because they're getting them too early to begin with. I will give my fist ones around 12 weeks, then 15 weeks, then have a titer done to see if they need anymore. do you know they give my 2 3/4 lb biewer, the same amt in her shots, as they did my german shepherd when she had her shots??
As far as Rabis, mine at 11 mos hasn't even had it yet and she may never.
Shes always right with me, and I feel she is too small to have it
