As long as the pups are still nursing they should getting plenty of fluids. In my 12 years of breeding I have never had any concerns about the pups not drinking enough water. As the mom starts producing less milk the pups should increase their water intake. How are the puppies stools? Usually if a pup is not getting enough fluids they might get constipated. If you feel their stools are to hard then you can add a little karo syrup to their water but I have never had to do that. The last few years I don't even give mine moistened dry food, they just get ground dry food. When they are around 6 weeks I add a tiny bit of canned Pedigree Lamb and Rice puppy food to the dry food and they get that twice a day in addition to their dry food.
