 I've got the creeps!
About an hour ago, Maddie was at the back door barking like crazy...an insistent bark that she wanted outside pronto. I told her she must have to go potty really bad and let her and Libby out. They both took off at top speed running around the yard as if hunting for something. All of a sudden I saw something move in the neighbors yard. It was a huge golden cat...it had a small head and very large body. It did not look at all like an ordinary cat to me and made me scared. Maddie and Libby had run to the fence and were barking at it and it just stood there looking at them. I turned around to yell into the house for my hubby to come, and when I turned around, the cat was gone. I quickly got Maddie and Libby inside. I've been searching the net for one that looks like what I saw and I wonder if it was a bobcat. I just don't know, but that did not look like a domesticated cat. I will be taking Maddie and Libby out on a leash for the time being because he could be watching for them. It just makes me feel very uneasy. |
