I think alot is common sense, don't you? How could cutting hair change the color? If that was true wouldn't the world be filled with nothing but silver Yorkies. Most of us cut the hair before two yr..I do not shave them to the skin, even that wouldn't effect the genetic preponent as to what the adult color will be.
