Default Help for new breeder of Yorkies and new to site

Hello everyone I am new to the site and from England, I see that most of you are from America.

Well I had a litter of puppies 6 days ago all went well, 2 girls, 2 boys. One of the boys was always small, the mother is a small dog but he seemed to be thriving.

Over the last 2 days I have noticed he is not keeping up with the the others. I have to get him to latch on and hold him there whereby he does suckle, but if I let go he falls off. I have been helping him with this for 2 days now and wonder if I am doing the right thing or is there something else I can do.

The other 3 are quite a bit bigger and therefore a bit bulliesh to him (survival of the fittest ). I have weighed him and he is putting on weight but he looks so weedy.

Any suggestions anyone.

Fantastic site by the way.
