You would probably get a lot more response if this was posted in the General Discussion section. Anyway, I know it is a hard decision for you. I am sure Jack would adjust to a new home but it might take some time depending on his personality. Considering what all lies ahead for you it might be the best thing to look for him a new home. On the other hand, if you are attached to him and if you think he will do well traveling then take him with you to the states. He will give you lots of love and company while your husband is away.
