Default breeding

This is the number one reason there are so many accidental breedings. My males did not live in the same part of the house and they rarely mixed. If anyone ever gets an AKC inspection, they will frown on males running free with females..you can get a fine...I only got a warning some years back.

AKC can choose to inspect any breeder they please..it is not true that they only contact high volume breeders. I had two friends who an AKC "look see" and they had each bred ONE litter that year. Most are in the 5 or more litters per year catagory. I was inpsected 3 times in 30 yrs..the first time I only had 4 litters that entire year.
