You said she is 7 ounces right? That would be 50-75 ml of formula a day. Split that into how many feedings you are giving. Since I was giving 10-12 a day, I usually gave 5- 6 ml to start out. You have to adjust when she starts gaining weight. It is 25-35 ml per 3.5 ounces of puppy a day.

When you feed the puppy be sure it is on its tummy not on its back like you might feed a human baby. Also if you see the puppy is not nursing well, you might want to take to the vet to have her tubed. He will show you how to feed by tube yourself. Thankfully, I never had to do that -- the syringe worked well for me.

Don't feed too much -- it can get in their lungs and cause pneumonia. If milk comes out their nose, slow down.
