I have 2 female yorkies. My Angel gave birth to 4 puppies 2 weeks ago (Sat). Both of my girls look exactly alike. When I was at work Sat my husband let everybody out for a potty break. When they came back inside my other girl Ceci went into the crate with Angels pups. Hubby did not notice it was Ceci and locked the crate. He called me about 2 hours later saying something was wrong with Ceci. He said she was digging, crying and acting strange. He took her out and checked her to see what was wrong. He called back saying he thought Ceci must of had pups during the night and ate them because she was filled with milk. Needless to say I was freaked out because she was not pregnant that I knew of. When I got home I noticed right away that Ceci was in Angels crate. Now Ceci's nipples are very sore and very very hard around them. I called the vet this morning and he said she needs to come in and get an antibotic. Has anyone every had anything happen like this before? I am going to bring her to the vet first thing tomorrow morning. Does anyone know of anything I can do in the mean time?
