a hint when taking him out, dont walk around..stand in one spot with nothing around but grass, no tress, no piles of dirt, or fences, etc. just stand in one spot. and if you have a retractable leash, lock it a little shorter, and dont go anywhere til he goes. mine is getting a little better but if its not first thing in the morning, or right when i get home and i know she'll have to go right away..it may take her a bit. and that is the trick. dont pace and just stand there. keep encouraging him in a positive voice, "go potty". but patience is a virtue! good luck |
