I was at Petsmart and I was talking to a couple wth their 2 yorkies with them. We got into a conversation about their coats. Anyway, they were telling me to wait til my yorkie is 2 years old before i get his haircut, because the black hair will turn silver when it grows back out, if i cut it too soon. Is this true? Or is color based on genetics?
