at 10 weeks i think it is too early to tell but if the lighter (adult) hair growing in looks "greasy" i would lean towards a silky coat. I have yorkies that are silky and 1 that is cotton and the silky ones had thin, greasy looking hair when the adult hair on their heads started coming in. my cotton baby's hair was not like that when her adult hair grew in - it was always thicker and softer and more cottony in texture

and i think all puppies eyes shine blue when they are really young so that is not usually a good indicator with a pup that young i could be wrong but thought i remember reading that somewhere
