My yorkie lived for several years with cushings. While there are medications they have some bad side effects and I chose not to use them. She did very well and wasn't in any pain because of the hormones flooding her system. She died 3 weeks after her 16th birthday. You don't say how old this dog is but if it is a young dog it may need to be treated. I too, would reccommend a change of vets |
