My sister's Cairn Terrier had Cushings Disease. She spent thousands of dollars on Cat Scans, x-rays, medications before he was finally diagnosed with Cushings. When Chewy first got sick he started to have seizures once in a while then the seizures were quite frequent. The vet said that there really wasn't any hope for a cure and there would be a time when you would just know it was time to let him go. When the seizures got really bad and were back to back with 6-8 times a day she knew it was time to say good-bye. Chewy was only 5 years old.
