Ha! I have never heard this complaint before.
My dog does not howl, but he makes a lot of other very strange noises. I think this is common to yorkies. Sometimes he chirps like a bird, meows like a cat, or squeals like a pig. It's like having an entire barnyard in one four pound animal! Maybe these new noises will provide some consolation.
