As weird as this sounds, I wish my yorkie would howl. It's always just come natural for all of my other dogs, but I've only heard my yorkie howl one time. She only did this because I put her in my bedroom when a friend of mine came over, and she wanted to see him.
But...I love when dogs howl at the sound of a siren (ambulance, police, firetruck) and she could care less. She hardly even barks...I grew up with my parents dogs barking for a treat, barking when you get home, barking at strangers or noise, and howling when they hear a siren.
Maybe its just one of those familiar noises that most wish they didn't have to live with, but I miss.
Does anybody else have a non-howling yorkie?

I have never heard a yorkie howl, ever.
