If you were to look at a baby doll face when its wet, the stop (forehead) is deeper more pronounced. The skull is rounder. The muzzle is shorter and more narrow. They also have more round shaped eyes instead of oval or almond.
This is the description I have seen. I had a picture of a drawn head study of the standard type and baby doll faced but can't find it.
