Knowing Yorkies can be yappers, I was on her as soon as I brought her home. I used the penny in the can trick to train it out of her.
Now she only barks when someone comes to the door, and that is probably because the other dogs make such a fuss. She'll also bark if she wants inside.. Overall I'd say she barks more than any other dog.
My neighbors yorkie however is a barking machine - I don't know how they do it.
