I am 52 yrs young and have dogs my entire life. I got divorced 13yrs ago and when I moved out I couldn't take ANY of my animals with me
I was heartbroken. I lived with a man that I ended up marrying. We bought a house and I told him I needed to have a dog. He is not as much an animal lover as I am...I finally convinced (told) him that I was going to get a dog. I wanted something small (I always had medium to big dogs) that didn't shed, I have allergies. Yorkies were not my first choice...I finally decided on a yorkie. I bought her from a local breeder. Well!!!!! BOTH of us fell in love with the breed...When Sadie was 2yrs old I told him that she was lonely and needed a playmate
! So.....that's when Lillie came into the picture..He has done a complete turn around...He kisses the girls before he kisses me!! Now he tells me we should have a boy!!
for him!!!! I would LOVE to get another but, I we take the girls everywhere with us...including camping...I told him I don't have enough arm or lap room for another dog! I do all the care taking for the girls...feeding, bathing, grooming, walking....if he helped me out more I would probably consider getting another one....maybe someday!
