Just wondering where everyone found their dogs. Did you but straight from a breeder with a good reputation? Maybe a breeder that you later learned had a bad rep? Did you buy from a puppy mill even though you may not have known it at the time?

I want to know how much research people put into their dog. I put in a lot of research AFTER finding my puppy and I realize I'm still very happy with my choice. I didn't end up being duped by a puppy mill or bad breeder. I can see how easily that could happen.

I would like to hear stories of how your love ended up in your home!
