I do think dogs dream but have never heard of a dog sleepwalking. Maybe someone could shed more light on the part of you question.
As far as running to the door, dogs have such good senses he may be hearing someone passing by even though they're not making any noise. My dogs either hear or smell people walking around our neighborhood and bark to let me know. Then there are times where I swear they are just barking at the wind! |
