Default I work for Clorox!!

I can help with that! I work for Clorox!

Greenworks are excellent cleaning products. But they current are NOT disinfecting. They essentially are filtered water, coconut (a natural surfactant), lemon oil and a very small amount of cornbased ethanol (less than 1%). They contain NO Bleach or Phosphorous.

Nancy - You are correct.

Bleach is derived from Sodium Chloride (same as table salt). It's very reactive when exposed to air and quickly breaks down. It's biproducts are salt and water. Most people overuse bleach though. When mixing it with a gallon of water, you only need 3/4 of a cup of bleach to properly disinfect floors/counters etc.. It's actually suggested that you clean animal bowls and children's toys with 1 tbsp of bleach dissolved in 1 gallon of water.
