I tend to stay more around 20-21 pts. because I've also done the calorie calculations when i've eaten just 18 pts. I could barely get 1200 calories in. That's not good. I will never eat less that 1,200 cal/day. That's the only ?? I have in the whole WW program.
I did WW too, and it worked out really well. I was actually SKINNY for a long time. People always told me that they couldn't believe I'd ever had a weight problem. Then I moved to SF, and gained it all back + friends (sigh).

I'm working on getting back to sound eating and exercise habits, and then I plan to find a WW meeting around here and re-join. I think the meetings are what make or break the plan for most people. I know for me that the meeting leader made a hee-YOUGE difference.

I do think the 18-20 range is too low. I was always hungry at that level. I thought they bumped the minimum back up to 20-22? Anyway, I would usually make it about 1800 calories by eating a lot of low-fat, high fiber foods so I could get as many calories as possible. The problem, I think, is that my diet's fat percentage fell to almost 0%, and I think it's very hard to stay satisfied with that little fat in the diet. Next time, I probably won't drop down that far. I've found by tracking my calories as well as points that I need 1800 calories / day no matter what. Somehow I have a high metabolism, but a big appetite to go with it, so it doesn't work to my advantage!
