Hi all! Well we have now made a trip to a local vet (not the one we'd planned, one even closer and recomended by local family). The vet was out for lunch but a tech was on hand. We got a few Capstar pills, just in case. She got one already and I was so happy to find TONS of dead fleas all over her toys in her carrier when I took her out. Dead fleas make me happy!
She's acting pretty much herself now. Still no "talking" but otherwise exactly her normal self. I'm playing it by ear, since the tech really thought Zoe's stressed out weird state yesterday was due to having so many fleas! I didn't think she needed X-rays or another trip to be able to see the vet just yet. That said I feel comfortable that if god forbid she was not okay tonight/tomorrow we'd go back and demand a vet visit.
Otherwise we're doing well. I've got to find their vacuum so I can start to rid their house of fleas and avoid continuing the cycle here....
