I keep Wiggy's hair long and beautiful all year round. He's mostly a pampered inside dog, so it doesn't matter. I usually walk him during the early morning or early evening, while the heat is lower. I have a fenced backyard, but Wiggy doesn't play there very much. He just takes care of business and runs back to the door.
