This may be a little graphic, but its the only way I can describe it...

My Maddie has been having diarrhea for about 48 hours now. The diarrhea has subsided but I noticed she is leaking diarrhea from her anus!!! She could be just sleeping and I would suddenly smell something and there was diarrhea coming out. Its not alot but enough to stain her bed. All last night it was her butt was leaking!!! I wiped her little butt so much it looks really irriated and red (I feel so bad...)

I took her to the vet today and he gave her a antibiotic shot and meds to take home. The leaking has gotten better since the meds but its still leaking a little bit right now. The vet said that the leaking is due to the diarrhea. He said its probably something that she ate. Ive experienced diarrhea with my other dogs in the past but never a leaking butt....

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this with diarrhea??? Any suggestions?

Im feeding her boiled chicken with rice and her medication.
