At three pounds, Chloe can safely be spayed. Did you know that if you get her spayed before she ever has her first heat, you will eliminate her chance of ever getting mammary cancer? If you wait until after she has one heat, the risk rises to 7%. After the second heat, it rises to 25%, the same as an unspayed female.
