Ahhhh ... now I understand! At first I was thinking .... well of course, they should be able to ask more for their show quality than their pet quality. Once you used the example from the site I understand your concern! Does not make sense to me either. If he is worth $1200 as a breeder, why would she sell him at $400 just because she checks a box giving limited registration? Makes a person think he is probably worth $400 and the "$1200 as breeder" is just a sales ploy to make the pet seeker think they are getting more than they really are. Of course, I can't imagine selling AKC Yorkies for only $400 unless major faults are seen. I guess some breeders are going for quantity sales though.
