No matter what time of the Year or Season all 3 of my Yorkies have a Long, full coat of Hair! I work so hard to Groom, Condition and grow their Hair all Year long to maintain what they do have I'm definitely NOT Shaving any of it off! They wear Clothes all the time too, depending on the Weather. It keeps them cleaner for a longer period of time, I would rather wash their Clothes then Bathe them all the time. I wake-up early to "Walk" them to beat the Heat of the Day, and in the Evening when it's Cooler. I don't even bother taking them out between noon and 7 pm. it's too Hot! Besides they do NOT have an Under Coat like other Breeds, their Hair is the only thing that keeps them warm in the Winter and Cool in the Summer as well as protect their Skin from getting "Sun Burned". The reason I got a Yorkie to begin with was b/c of the way they looked.....Topknot and all! I have seen so many Yorkies that DO NOT look like Yorkies? I only trust myself to do all their Grooming, so I do
appreciate the way they Look and I don't mind all the Compliments either, I should do Commercials for "Cowboy Magic Detangler & Shine"
