Twilight series are the hot thing at the school where I work. You would think it would be so popular with the kids because it is written for the young adult, but it's the teachers that can't put them down. I work in the Learning Support Dept at a high school and out of 6 LS teachers and 4 aides, I am the only hold out on reading them. It's not that I'm not tempted to read them, it is now the principal of the thing!! I swear that's all they ever talk about!! They have read them all!! My favorite author is Clive Cussler. If you like action novels with characters that carry over into all his books, you might like them. Dirk Pitt and Kurt Austin (Every woman's fantasy men!) are my favorite characters. Usually his books start out in a period of history when something of importance happened, then jump to modern day where a plot is formed around the historical happening. Love his books!! |
