this post made me cry. i do not own a rescue yorkie, but i believe every word you said about how they look at you. (it's heartbreaking)
and your post also reminded me of an article that i read a year ago. it was about a couple who drove their dog to a place to dump him. they just dropped off the dog there and disappeared. the people who live there say that the dog goes back to the place he was dropped off every single day, waiting for his owners. some people try to take the dog in, but the dog just wanted to wait for his mom and dad. it's so sad, i can't believe how cruel people can be.
