Actually the chamomile tea is also a soother for the inside and outside of the body. It sooths the skin and it neutralizes the allergens. You dont have to bath them to use it, just pour it on them between baths if they get itchy, it's the shampoo that drys the skin. And if it's seasonal allergies the oats/oatmeal shampoos can actually make it worse. My dog has seasonal allergies, his skin gets red and itchy the whites of his eyes turn very red and his nose gets swollen and plugged. The tea is the only thing that works for him. I pour it in my dogs drinking water and do the rinse. When you do the rinse you want it to get into the eyes, it takes the red out quickly. If you have a cat and have a visitor who's allergic, wipe the cat down with a rag soaked in the tea. My nephew is highly allergic to cats , I use the tea on my cat before he comes over and no more sneezing and snorting when the cat curls up next to him. My sister-n-law is amazed. My vet recomends it to some of his clients. And you'll never know till you try it, it's much cheaper then the shampoos too.
