It has oatmeal in it to soothe skin but I wouldn't want to be bathing her that often with dry skin already. You can use it daily. I got ours from Ellie's vet. It may or may not be any easier on her than the children's liquid. I'd talk to the vet about it. Ellie's vet thought it was worth a try though when I asked about medicated shampoo. In our case it is food allergies and it only helped a little bit.
There are other shampoos along the same lines that would do the same but they may try to give you one with steroids, so careful if you don't want to go that way.
