I have to agree with what people are saying about the Twilight series. I am NOT a fan of vampire anything, but these books just sucked me in. In fact, my husband didn't see me for 3 weeks unless I was in my chair reading. I think he was fed up with that.
I now am reading the Lord of the Rings series. A bit tougher read with the way the language is written (old style), you have to concentrate, but I'm enjoying them, nonetheless. I loved the movies.
I also like Star Trek: The Next Generation. I know, I'm a nerd, but I started watching the series back in high school with my dad cause that's all that came on our tv then at that time of day. But I got hooked and started reading the books, too. They are fun reads if you like that sort of thing. |
