I have recently been reading Beverly Lewis books. She writes about the Amish people. I know to some this doesn't sound very intriguing, because at first I thought the same. However, I love to read and am generally open minded when it comes to reading, so I tried one of her books and that was all it took........I was hooked. Most of the settings take place in or around Lancaster, PA. She has taken great pains to keep the history of the Amish people and their ways, culture, speech, etc. accurate. I found myself actually there with these people.......laughing, crying and cheering them on......well, I guess by now you can tell I am a true fan of Beverly Lewis. You might want to try a book of hers. Have a great Day!
