i think it's hard for dogs to understand words that sound too similar.
i taught milu to 'spin' recently. and she would spin, but she would also bark at me a lot when i say "spin". i was confused at first
until when i try to ask her to do her other command "speak".... now she will only spin whenever i say 'speak'.
poor little girl, she must have thought i was crazy!
i am trying to figure out a way for her to do the speak command now, i guess i will have to change 'speak' to 'talk' as a command word.
