We were supposed to get our new little guy today, but he had a little bit of an episode earlier in the week. The breeder thought that it would be best to keep him for atleast another week to keep an eye on him. We want him to come home so bad, but want him to be healthy though as well!!
What happened was it sounded like the little guy had a hypoglycemia attack earlier this week. When our breeder went to check on him he was having a seizure and his gums were pale white. He was given some karo syrup, and did snap out of it. He's eating some on his own now again, and the breeder is syringe feeding him some as well to ensure he's getting enough nutrition.
He's currently 10 weeks old, and weighs 1.5lbs. It's been several days now, and it seems like he's back to his old self. It's crazy that he was perfectly fine up until this point! Were going to go visit him tomorrow! Keep your fingers crossed for this little guy to stay healthy, so he can come home with us next week sometime!!
