You really need to contact a dog behavior specialist to help your dog get over it's agression issues. You are fortunate that the dog was in your family and not a strsngers dog, or worse yet a child.

Dog agression should not be taken lightly.

I'm sorry if that souinds uncaring, because I do care, I care about the poor little dog that had to die unnecessarily.
After almost a year, I am ready to respond to your post.

My daughter posted her plea for help because she was heartbroken and filled with guilt, sadness for all of us, and because she also loved Gracie Leigh.
She also posted because she is a wonderful daughter and is always trying to take care of me.

Your response was so totally inappropriate and unfeeling that it has taken me a very long time to respond to it.

In a time of grief and sorrow, the last thing that anybody needs is an arrogant, uncaring person telling them what they did wrong.

I rarely come on YT anymore, and it is just because of people like you. There are wonderful caring people on every thread. You can see that from this thread. Then "Wham" somebody decides that they need to post and tell the world the right way to do things whether or not it is hurtful, destructive or just plain mean.

Nobody asked you for your "advice." How stupid do you think my daughter is that she did not realize that her dog has issues?

Like I said, it is because of people like you that I rarely come to YT anymore.
You may be right honey, but I certainly do no want anything to do with somebody so insensitive and arrogant.
