This is hard for me to reply to but I think it might be important to pass on my tragic experience.

Look at this sweet girl. She was 6-6.5 lbs. She had 5 beautiful puppies on 2/28/09 -- 3 days later she was gone, a complication of childbirth. I miss her so much and wish I had not bred her. I thought I was all ready for breeding. That was going to be my retirement challenge. Breed for a line of beautiful Yorkies! But I failed to take the risk to my girl as serious as it is. If you breed, no matter the size or health you are risking losing your precious family member. Can you take that risk?
