After three months, I was still missing Paddy badly.
I talked my wife into checking out rescue centres.
At the time I also had a flat in Essex 18 miles north of London, so we got in touch with Battersea dogs home, who promptly sent out an officer for an interview and a home check.
The Lady from Battersea was wonderfull, after she heard our story of Paddy we were accepted on the adoption list at Battersea, I considered this an honour, I still have our approval slip.
For our overseas friends, Battersea is probably the best known dogs home in the UK
Battersea
In the meantime while waiting for a call from them we scoured the net and found a site, National Yorkie Rescue Centre and registered with them also.
