After Paddy left us life was a little empty.
We were still grieving for Paddy for a long time.
As a substitute, my neighbour was breeding Zebra Finches, so we bought a large cage and Trevor gave us five Zebra Finches.
Within two weeks we were down to two, methinks this is not a good idea, although nearly four years on the two are still with us, we talk most mornings, something like beep beep, they know me and do talk in their own way.
But talking to a bird that only goes beep beep is not enough. |
