Zoe, He was a real character
My little mate Paddy was better than all my real friends.
Although I only had him for four years it was like a lifetime, we became so close and also Tom was his sidekick, Tom was as gutted as me when he passed away.
We buried him in the field behind where we live, it is like a pasture and I planted some snow drops on his last resting place, a couple of years on now and the snow drops are dividing, they are in a large shape with the letter P.
He is not forgotten, but to make his passing more special his favourite blanket was one that I stole from a flight on concorde, it has silk edges, he loved it, so it was his burial shroud, a special blanket for a special man.
I still have two of these blankets, but Paddy claimed one, so only fitting that he was laid to rest with it.
I am sure British Airways wouldn't mind, sshhhh! |
