Yeah! There is farmland, mostely up in Central CA.....San Jose, Sacramento area. You were in the San Diego area....the one thing that California does have is beautiful scenery.
I lived in Colleyville, 26 miles Northeast of Ft Worth and 26 miles Northwest of Dallas. Still had some agricultural land there, but it was getting scarce. You could still see cows and goats grazing.
