Because of their popularity, Yorkies have become a favorite among greeders and the result is a Yorkie prone to all sorts of genetic conditions like liver shunts. Legg-Perthes, etc. who barely resemble the standard set out by the YTCA. |
I've been worried about health risks with Ksena as well....I thought she was reputable...I tried everything I knew to do. I googled her and found nothing bad and believe me I searched and searched...I even went back and forth with someone who bought one of her dogs and asked about health problems etc etc....she has sort of a web page that has really good reviews on it....I feel really bad about all of this but I did everything I knew to do and I chose to believe what the breeder told me because I couldn't find anything bad about her! The parents of Ksena had huge amounts of fluffy hair on their heads so I really believed her when she said that some dogs hair comes in later than others and that she would have a lot of hair...the hair to the floor. I figured it would cover her tiny head. I have seen Yorkies that have narrow faces with the long hair....I took a chance, I guess, that I wasn't being lied to....I don't want to get mad again so I guess I'll stop there....the breeder lied to me!! She lied to me and lured me to her house with a lie about quality an hour and a half away and then when I question Ksena's appearance she lied to me again....Maybe I am a fool but the breeder is an a** hole!! I have to stop now or I'm going to contact the breeder and go off...I shouldn't even be acting this way but I feel so deceived and angry....
