Amen to that!
If you don't get a puppy from a reputable breeder who is carefully breeding to produce puppies who will grow up to be as close to the Yorkie standard as possible, it's anybody's guess what the puppy will look like as an adult.
Because of their popularity, Yorkies have become a favorite among greeders and the result is a Yorkie prone to all sorts of genetic conditions like liver shunts. Legg-Perthes, etc. who barely resemble the standard set out by the YTCA.
