I have a Charlie that does the exact same thing!!! When I'm at my computer, he stands up on my chair and then runs away when I bend down to pick him up. When I bend down for Oliver on the other hand, he will turn and face away from me and back up towards me (his "pick me up" position). They are brothers from the same litter, but have COMPLETELY different personalities.
