I have the same problem. She used to come to me at home when I call out, "Pichu, whatcha up to?" and she'd come to me no matter what she was doing and then just run off again without coming close enough to touch. But she stopped doing that now too. What she does respond to wherever (as long as there aren't other animals she's taken interest in around) is the "paw" command. She would go out of her way to come bring me her paw.
