Just be very careful about letting London get too close and lick as you may not know whether it is a frog or toad. Depending on where you live, there are some that can make our babies really sick because they are so small.
Our toad story from when Sissy was a year old ~ we get tons of toads in our yard in early summer. From teeny tiny ones to really big ones. One early evening she went outside to potty and there was a medium-sized toad on the driveway which Sissy decided looked yummy. She put the entire toad in her little mouth!! Well, the toad proceeded to excrete into her mouth

(this is their protection factor and although some toads have poisonous secretions, this was not one of them - thank God). Even if not poisonous, according the vet it is vile tasting. Well Sissy immediately starts foaming at the mouth and jerking backwards, shaking her head from side to side to get the icky stuff out of her mouth. Needless to say, she opened her mouth and the toad hopped away. A little while later, Sissy started vomiting (a result of the vile tasting secretions) and we ended up with a vet visit for sub Q fluids and a check-up. Thankfully, she has never touched a toad again!!!!!!!!
