Absolutely, ask all the questions you can come up with. If the breeder is unwilling to share that information with you, find another breeder. You must feel fully comfortable with your breeder. You are not only buying a puppy, you are buying a relationship. The relationship should continue for the life of the dog, not when the money exchanges hands and you walk out the door. I know that I want to see what my dogs have produced. I enjoy getting pics, phone calls, etc. When I place a pup, I offer free grooming and boarding for that pup, for the rest of their life. Purely selfish on my part, but I get to see them often.
